About the Session

What to Expect

Picture

"A horse's behaviour is much more
like ours than you might think."

  • No previous horse experience is necessary.  All horse experiences are done from the ground, no riding is involved.  For those who are anxious about working alongside horses, work can be done from the other side of the fence or with the horse on a lead line with a facilitator.

  • You need to wear hard shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing or a sun hat, sun glasses and sun cream, along with some water.  Some people like to bring a notebook for making notes.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before a session.  Please switch off your mobile phone during your session.

  • It is not possible to work with the horses if you have had high quantities of alcohol or caffeine within the previous 48 hours or if you have taken recreational drugs in the last few weeks.

"The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire."
